Boys Will Be Boys x Eldorado
Art director, Photography, Graphic Design, Text
My bachelor thesis project at Beckmans College of Design, 2024.
This editorial explores the deep cultural significance of food and the dining table as a central gathering place. Food is more than sustenance; it’s a connection to tradition, memory, and community. The dining table, whether simple or elaborate, transforms each meal into a shared ritual, fostering togetherness.

The project challenges the narrative of the kitchen as a competitive space, advocating instead for its role as a place of peace and connection. Sharing a meal is about lowering defenses and embracing community. The table becomes a space for learning, unlearning, and creating space for others’ stories and traditions.

Historically, womanhood and femininity have been linked to food, comfort, and warmth. This editorial reflects on these connections and invites readers to consider the dinner table as a symbol of comfort, a meeting place, and a method for creating togetherness. Through this collaboration with Eldorado, I wanted to celebrate the dinner table as the center of human relationships, where stories and memories intertwine.
